DORCHESTER COLLECTION VALUES AWARDS WINNERS 2022
The five values we hold dear at Dorchester Collection are what set us apart, and our annual Values Awards recognise those employees and teams who exemplify what it means to be a part of our ongoing story.
This year, we have seen some incredible innovations from our employees as we faced a particularly challenging time in our industry, and it has been amazing to see the teamwork, the individuals stepping up and our whole family at Dorchester Collection pulling together. And now, meet with winners!
Together we have a passion for creating legendary experiences.
We believe every employee can turn this passion into a successful career
Winner:
Coworth Park
Coworth Park displayed passion in every aspect of the hotel operation during the most challenging year in the industry. Coming up with creative solutions to integrate Covid-19 restrictions, Coworth Park was able to operate its F&B outlets and events through the clever and successful utilisation of outdoor spaces. So successful, in fact, that these will remain in place permanently. Feedback from guests was that their experience had not been compromised and the hotel continues to be able to provide an oasis of comfort and calm in the countryside, often as an alternative to a luxurious exotic resort location. The effect and impact of the employees’ incredible dedication is evident through the record-breaking results across all areas of Coworth Park: financial, team engagement and guest engagement.
“The effect and impact of the employees’ incredible dedication is evident through the record-breaking results.”
Highly commended:
Le Meurice
Throughout 2021, Le Meurice tried to strike a balance between weathering health and economic crises and planning for long-term success through focusing on employees, guests and implementing changes.
Some of the innovations introduced include a new florist department and a fully renewed total F&B offer. Le Meurice maintained its facilities to the highest quality standards and cherished its commitment to exceed guests’ expectations, strategically managing guest experience and caring for its people.
Thanks to a low staff turnover, the entire hotel team, including housekeeping, were consistently present and allowed a smooth running of the operations. It is part of their biggest source of pride.
Overall, whilst balancing employees’ wellbeing with managing payroll cost, the hotel has achieved great results without compromising on its brand values with guests.
“We are very proud to have been recognised in the Passion category of the awards this year,” says Le Meurice general manager Franka Holtmann. “I wanted to sincerely thank all our employees for their daily engagement, especially during the pandemic. We will continue to work with passion on major projects to come.”
