THE VALUES AWARDS
Creativity
We approach each day with a creative curiosity to add new delight to our guests’ experiences.
Winner: The Beverly Hills Hotel
The Beverly Hills Hotel opened on 12 May 1912, prior to the founding of Beverly Hills itself. In many ways, the city of Los Angeles has grown up around its most glamorous hotel.
For its 110th anniversary in 2022, the team devoted itself to celebrating its heritage not only as the first official landmark in Beverly Hills and second home to Hollywood royalty, but also as a standard-bearer in hospitality for future generations.
“We are thrilled to have won the Creativity Award for our 110-year anniversary initiatives,” says general manager John Scanlon. “Our team does a tremendous job of creating the most memorable experiences for every single guest who walks up our red carpet and this year is just another example of that.”
The team created a variety of different initiatives throughout the year to bring awareness to this milestone and also tell The Beverly Hills Hotel story in an engaging and compelling way. Special offerings included love letters, summer movie series, anniversary libations and more. The Creativity Award for this hotel is richly deserved in what was a momentous year.
Highly Commended: 45 Park Lane
Employee happiness is the foundation of 45 Park Lane’s mission to deliver the best guest service possible and, to this end, the team introduced a variety of new concepts with the theme of people and culture as a point of focus to showcase its appreciation for fellow employees.
Creativity flourished throughout the year through town halls, anniversary lunches, the celebration of loyal service employees and an executive trip to craft plans for the upcoming year. Departmentally, 45 Park Lane also restructured the entire butler/host team to ensure excellence could be delivered in the most efficient way possible.
