At Le Meurice, friendly, open-minded and approachable Hakima is a natural relationship builder both with her guests and her fellow employees. As well as speaking four languages, Hakima possesses perfect recall of loyal guests’ habits, and both are key for customer interactions.
A room service senior coordinator for more than 19 years, Hakima is also a key part of the hotel social life as a social economic committee member. In her capacity as an elected union member, Hakima is known for her great listening skills and always endeavours to facilitate and support the link between management and the employees. “I am proud and honoured to have had this title, which represents me perfectly,” she says. “Thank you, Dorchester Collection, for your trust and encouragement.” Congratulations Hakima.
Highly Commended: Daniela Trevisan, Hotel Principe di Savoia
The devil is in the detail and in 2022, creative planner Daniela adeptly and swiftly navigated a series of challenges, events and projects at Hotel Principe di Savoia. She played a crucial role in organising the DC executive forum, from creating the first ‘DC forest’ to developing, together with the marketing department, the brochure and gifts in the rooms.
For the service excellence launch events in June, Daniela collaborated with colleagues to create a highly engaging programme themed around Leonardo da Vinci, and personally took care of the meeting room set-ups, hotel posters and a quiz for employees at the staff canteen. She has also become the linchpin between room service, the pastry department and the guest relations teams, which has facilitated the creation of ever more personalised amenities for the hotel’s guests.
